Small charity event for Kessab-Armenians held in Sukhlis village of Akhaltskha

On Apr. 27, a charity event was held in the Armenian Sukhlis village of Akhaltskha region. The event began with a tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Among the attendees were Deputy Gamgebeli of Akhaltskha Ashoht Manasyan, the head of Sukhlis village and representatives of the Armenian Youth Educational and Cultural Center of Akhaltskha.

The participants of the event performed Armenian patriotic songs, Georgian folk songs, as well as Georgian and Armenian dances and pop songs.

The event also included performances of song and dance by members of the Armenian Youth Educational and Cultural Center of Akhaltskha.

The concert was organized by musician, benefactor Manvel Khachatryan and head of the Culture Home in Sukhlis village, artistic director of the Center’s “Gohanamk” Ensemble and dance instructor Tiruhi Hambardzumyan.

The organizers promised that the program suggested by the Armenian Youth Educational and Cultural  Center of Akhaltskha would be ongoing and that charity concerts would be held in all Armenian villages of Akhaltskha.
