COUNCIL OF ARMENIAN NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS OF SAMTSKHE-JAVAKHK CALLS ON POLITICAL PARTIES OF AKHALKALAK TO MEET
Taking into consideration the events that have been taking place over the past week, the Council of Armenian Non-Governmental Organizations of Samtskhe-Javakhk has organized meetings with the major political parties of the region to receive information about their views on solutions to the problems facing the people of the region.
Coordinator Artak Gabrielyan has sent letters to the members of the "Georgian Dream” Alliance and officials of the "United National Movement” in Akhalkalak with the proposal to organize a meeting to specify the list of people authorized by "Georgian Dream” and "United National Movement” and inform the Council about the date of the meeting.

The "Georgian Dream” Alliance has already responded to the proposal of the Council of Armenian Non-Governmental Organizations of Samtskhe-Javakhk with a response letter in which it has expressed the willingness to meet with the Council’s representatives at the Alliance’s office on February 23.

The officials representing the "United National Movement” still haven’t responded to the Council’s letter.

The Council of Armenian Non-Governmental Organizations of Samtskhe-Javakhk was established in 2003 and represents several non-governmental organizations of Samtskhe-Javakhk and Quemo-Qartli that are interested in Georgia’s stable development and pursue the protection of the interests of the people in that region.
